With the remodel and cosmetic revamp that AfterShock got today, there's going to be a change. I've decided not to write any more commentaries to go along with old layout captures. Why? Well, a couple reasons. First off, it's mainly because.. Well, in a sense I think I've outgrown it. Back when I made this archive I was obsessed with layouts. I changed them monthly, made them constantly, and loved writing about them. And now, I do love making layouts just as much - however, writing about what I like about them isn't something that I really care about anymore. At least, I don't have the time or patience to keep doing it consistently, and I've since realized that.. well, I don't want to write some long indepth summary about every layout I make! I made this thing like.. Four years ago, you gotta realize. I've changed. The focus of the comments change all the time, to.. They sometimes end up being a huge paragraph about construction, sometimes they mention stuff about why they were made, the older ones are a bunch of stupid garbage, and the newer ones are full of me trying to be enthusiastic. I have no unification! It's just come to the point now that when I realize I need to add layouts to the archive, I don't want to do it anymore, mainly because I don't care about, or have time to sit and ponder until I DO care about, writing a paragraph of crap for a layout. So I killed the comments off. Well, not really, I didn't want to just murder all that garbage I spent so much time writing, and used to think was so important.

This layout got new navigation, and with it there's now one list of sites: click on each one to see a list of every layout that the site ever had, along with links to any captures or comments that went with it. Now, the greatness of this is that if there's some layout that I DO like enough to write comments for in the future, I can add them easily and just link them from the heading, but if I don't want to do comments.. Lo and behold! I don't have to do anything! Anyway, the comments were keeping me from updating this beast, because I hated doing them so much I would wait eons jus to put up old layouts. They just had to go. :P And now I can update with a lot more ease and less frustration, trying to write a page when I really don't want to. And.. that's.. it!
